Abstract Numerous studies have investigated the chemical composition and biological activities of essential oils from different Citrus species fruit peel, leaves flowers. This paper aims to investigate composition, larvicidal antileishmanial oil reticulata peel (CR-EO). CR-EO was obtained by hydrodistillation in a Clevenger-type apparatus its analyzed GC-MS GC-FID. Limonene (85.7%), ɣ-terpinene (6.7%) myrcene (2.1%) were identified as major components. showed high activity against promastigote forms Leishmania amazonensis (IC50 = 8.23 µg/mL). also exhibited third instar Aedes aegypti larvae at lethal concentration (LC50 58.35 µg/mL) 100% mortality 150 µg/mL. study suggests, for first time, potential use this important mosquito-borne viral disease caused genus Aedes.
